GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams is the newest artist to shine in the Apple Music Live series, delivering a breathtaking performance at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. Serving as a cinematic near-finale for her The Secret of Us (Deluxe) Tour, Abrams gave fans a deeply emotional night of music and reflection set against the venue’s stunning natural backdrop.
The full performance is now available to stream on Apple Music, accompanied by an exclusive in-depth interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe.
In her conversation with Lowe, Abrams spoke about how “life-changing” the tour has been, explaining how it helped her grow creatively and personally. “It’s the kind of unabashed joy from the audience [that I’m carrying],” she said, highlighting the shared energy between her and her fans. She also reflected on how songs evolve once they’re performed live: “The song is no longer about me at all as soon as we’re all there... the way that people physically lean in.”
Abrams’ breakout second album, The Secret of Us, has achieved major international success, with the Deluxe Edition hitting #1 on Apple Music in 23 countries. Its viral hit That’s So True topped the overall charts in 10 countries and stayed on the Shazam Global Top 200 for nearly a year.
The artist also shared that her creative process is evolving as she explores a more introspective and “darker” side of herself, contrasting the brighter sound of her latest album. She cited I Told You Things and an unreleased song titled Death Wish as personal favourites that offer “such clues ultimately into what this next chapter feels like,” describing them as a return to the emotions that have always inspired her to write.
Both the full Apple Music Live performance, available in Spatial Audio, and Abrams’ exclusive interview with Zane Lowe can now be streamed on-demand via Apple Music.
