50 Cent reacted to the first images of Diddy behind bars by doing what he does best—trolling. Taking to social media, the rapper mocked the Bad Boy icon, making jokes about his sexuality and claiming he looked far too comfortable in prison. “He look happy to me, with all them handsome men around. GOOD MORNING NEW YORK CITY!” 50 wrote in the caption of his post.
He didn’t stop there. In the comments, he added, “I just thought about it, they’re thanking him for doing the laundry. LOL.” Fans quickly joined in on the laughter. “50 Cent doesn’t wake up and choose violence, he goes to sleep anticipating it,” one person joked. Another fan chimed in, calling him “the final boss of trolling.”
Diddy is currently serving time after being convicted earlier this year on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. His sentence totals four years and two months, though he received credit for the time he had already spent in custody before trial.
Recently, Diddy was transferred to FCI Fort Dix, the facility where he requested to serve the rest of his sentence. According to TMZ, the rapper has already begun working in the prison’s laundry department.
Diddy still plans to challenge his conviction. On Monday, U.S. Circuit Court Judge Beth Robinson granted his request for an expedited appeal process. His defense attorney, Alexandra Shapiro, told NBC News, “Sean’s appeal will challenge the unfair use of the Mann Act, an infamous statute with a sordid history, to prosecute him for sex with consenting adults.”
Despite the ruling, the jury cleared Diddy of several more serious accusations, including racketeering and sex trafficking. He is expected to be released by May 8, 2028, although with good behavior, he may leave prison even sooner.
