The intensity of BRITs Week 26, presented by DHL in support of War Child, hit new heights last night when Brighton punk duo Lambrini Girls stormed the stage at London’s legendary venue The Garage. Famed for their fearless performances and sharp, politically charged songwriting, the pair delivered a blistering set that captured everything thrilling about contemporary punk, pairing chaotic mosh pits with powerful calls for change and solidarity.
In the close quarters of the venue, they powered through crowd favourites such as "God’s Country" and "Love," playing to a sold out room that hung on every word. The evening also featured support from drag star and cultural provocateur Bimini, whose set set the tone perfectly and amplified the night’s defiant energy.
The show forms part of the wider BRITs Week 26 programme, leading into The BRIT Awards 2026 with Mastercard on Saturday, February 28th. This year signals a major moment for the ceremony as it moves beyond London for the first time in almost fifty years, relocating to Manchester. Reflecting that new chapter, BRITs Week has broadened its footprint with special one night only gigs in Newcastle, London, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Brighton and Manchester.
More than just a celebration of live music, the initiative carries real purpose. Every penny raised supports War Child, which delivers urgent assistance, schooling and psychological support to the one in five children around the world growing up in areas affected by conflict. At a time widely described as one of the most dangerous periods to be a child, these stripped back concerts give fans the chance to contribute directly to helping rebuild young lives torn apart by war.
Although Lambrini Girls have now made their impact on the capital, the programme still has plenty to offer. Upcoming nights include a space rock performance from Spiritualized at EartH on February 18th, followed by appearances from The K’s, Olivia Dean and a much anticipated closing show in Manchester headlined by Robbie Williams.
For anyone hoping to attend the remaining dates, a limited number of tickets are still on sale. It offers a rare chance to experience major artists in intimate surroundings described as "up-close and personal" while backing one of the world’s most vital charitable organisations.
