PlaqueBoyMax is proving to be much more than just an engineer who likes to livestream. Watching him grow as an artist alongside big names like Rob49 and Veeze has been impressive, and their new tracks “Yea Yea” and “5Star” clearly show how far his abilities have come.
On “5Star,” the energy is boosted even further with ad-libs from DJ Drama, according to Genius. The track runs over a bright, keys-driven beat that feels sharp and lively. The pacing is fueled by floating tones and fluttery drums that create momentum, while the “ATL Freestyles” duo step in with punchy bars and strong delivery.
PlaqueBoyMax also drops a verse on “Yea Yea,” a track that leans heavier and more aggressive with ominous bells and piano lines. Rob and Veeze pick up the pace here as well, trading flows and showing off their chemistry before PBM closes out the record with his own stamp.
